Elder flowers have a sudorific and expectorant, diuretic, antitussive, secretolytic power and are used against colds, fever, cough, colds, bronchitis, sore throats and certain viral diseases. the ketones contained in hyssop are powerful mucolytics. They thin and regulate the mucus that accumulates in the bronchi and facilitate its evacuation.
