Its composition
Spring water
The water we use to make our hydrosols is ultra pure water. This natural mineral water comes from a unique underground source preserved from all human pollution. It does not undergo any disinfection treatment. It is microbiologically healthy and is characterized by an original purity.
Natural mineral waters are the only ones to confer beneficial virtues on health.
Twigs of cistus ladaniferous
The cistus twigs are picked by hand in the middle of summer when they are full of their active ingredients. Once the branches are harvested, they are distilled directly in an authentic and traditional professional copper still, handcrafted in Portugal.
Cistus ladaniferous essential oil
Generally hydrosols do not contain essential oil, these are separated during the distillation process, mainly for financial reasons. At Pachamama Terra Medica, we have chosen not to dissociate the hydrosol from its essential oil in order to guarantee the product enhanced effectiveness.
Ultra nourishing, regenerating, energizing, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, Cistus essential oil is a rare and precious oil that remarkably combats skin aging. It is an astringent essential oil (it tightens skin pores) and an excellent skin tonic.
It stimulates the synthesis of epidermal lipids at a minute concentration and boosts cellular energy metabolism, which increases by 58%.
