It is in the middle of the wild and flowery plains of the Alentejo in Portugal that discreetly hides, at the bend of a dirt road, this small family apiary with weathered wood that time seems to have forgotten. Facing the first rays of the sun, it is here in this isolated place preserved from all human activity that a rare nectar of extreme purity is produced. The abundance and diversity of the local flora give our artisanal honey a wild and warm taste.
Its manufacture
100% natural and without added aroma, this Bela-Luz thyme infused honey is obtained by cold enfleurage for 3 months. This traditional method of decoction consists of transferring all the aromatic molecules of the freshly picked plant into the honey in order to obtain a natural, powerful and authentic aroma. Wild honey and hand-picked aromatic plants come from the same permaculture-managed estate in Portugal's Alentejo.
